Lori co-wrote and directed the short film, Curse of the Sunset Starlet, starring Academy Award nominated Sally Kirkland as Gigi, an aging horror film star who returns to her long abandoned daughter, claiming she is dying. But is she really a drifter, grifter or ghost come to destroy the family? Only a mysterious swarm of moths know the secret in this noir-tinged tale of family and forgiveness.

Curse of the Sunset Starlet premiered at the prestigious Newport Beach Film Festival and has screened in numerous festivals around the world.

Lori is currently writing her first feature, Hulaville, a coming of age story.
